Timothy J. Barton, Esquire, is a 1988 graduate of the Villanova University School of Law. Tim completed his undergraduate work at LaSalle University, where he majored in pre-med and was a member of the Academic Honors Program. Immediately after graduating from Villanova Law, Tim gained valuable litigation experience as a Deputy Public Defender at the Bucks County Courthouse where he tried numerous major felony cases to jury verdict. Tim has also appeared before the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware counties, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. He is an active member of the Bucks County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations, as well as the PA Trial Lawyers Association.

Christopher P. Phillips is currently engaged in the practice of general litigation, focusing primarily on the criminal defense of individuals and companies in all phases of government investigations, and also on personal injury of individuals. Before he joined the firm, Chris served the public for 15 years as an Assistant District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia. After having graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1985, Chris received his law degree from the Villanova University School of Law. He joined with Tim Barton in 2004 to found Barton & Phillips.
