We are located at the heart of Penn's Campus, on Chestnut Street at 36th. At Pizza Rustica we pride ouselves on the authenticity of our homemade Italian cuisine. Yep, we still have the wood burning oven, and our dough is made fresh daily right here in the restaurant. We never use prepared doughs or sauces, artificial colors or flavors. We personally shop every day for our ingredients so we can afford to serve our customers only the freshest and finest quality homemade dishes. Our unusual partnership (ten short years) and our diverse ethnic backgrounds (I'm south-philly I-talian, and we're not quite sure what Viru is yet, although he has resided so far on three continents!) helps us to add some quirky South Asian flair and old world techniques to achieve some of our rustic dishes.
