Lawyer Referral and Information Service is part of the Philadelphia Bar Association. Founded in 1802, Philadelphia Bar Association is one of the first chartered metropolitan bar associations in the United States. The association consists of various sections that keep bar members abreast with developments in the areas of tax, business and family law. It also has sections related to probate and trust, real property, public interest, criminal justice, workers compensation, state civil litigation and law practice management.
