This second restaurant of Olivier Desaintmartin, ZINC is no less than a replica of a “le Marais” style bar restaurant, artists most preferred section of Paris. Le Marais is also the oldest part of the French capital.Desaintmartin bought a 1919 zinc bar from a Parisian bar, refinished it, and shipped it to this quaint 40 seats bar/restaurant.
Acclaimed for its food, romance and its specialty drinks, Zinc becomes a hang out for locals, a meeting place. You can share a charcuterie or a fromage plate with a glass of Chinon, or sit at the bar sipping a French aperitif waiting for your party, or enjoy some oysters with a Muscadet.
