She is a 2000 graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu's International Culinary Academy, and has been cooking in the culinary industry for the past ten years. Erin is a Pittsburgh native.After receiving her degree in International & French Cookery, Erin went to Vail, Colorado where she spent a year cooking in Vail Resort. She worked at the fine dining restaurant The Fondue Stube where she worked as a line cook, and a small bistro at the base of the mountain, The Perfect Run. There she worked as a breakfast cook and a line cook. After a short time in Vail, Colorado Erin decided to move back to Pittsburgh. She worked at the Bradley House of Catering part time. She accepted a job as a saucer chef at Shannopin Country Club, where she worked from 2001 - 2004 under the Executive Chef Dino Cillo.Erin also taught a series of classes called Keeping it Simple at In the Kitchen. Currently she works part time at Highland Country Club as a Banquet Chef, while she continues to build her catering business.Erin spends most of her free time in the outdoors. She enjoys traveling, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, snowboarding, photography and marathon running.
