We offer casual dining in our dining rooms, Pub, and enclosed second floor porch with a beautiful overlook of the Delaware River. Cozy and welcoming, the functioning fireplaces are lit as soon as the weather turns cold creating romantic candlelit dining. Stone walls, wooden beams, and emerald tile, along with a tin ceiling in the classically English pub, add to the inn's welcoming country elegance reminiscent of another more relaxed era. The inn is in keeping with the thinking of the time when it was built, such as William Penn's belief that life in the country was more wholesome than in the worldly atmosphere of crowded cities. The inn is permeated with the spirit of this kindly, devout humanitarian, and it gives the visitor a sense of the unhurried grace and charm of those years when Pennsylvania was William Penn's Holy Experiment.
