Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Inn at St. Peter’s was created in 1881 by Dave Knauer. The construction of “Excursion House” marked the beginning of Knauer’s realization of the village as a recreational weekend retreat. This truly majestic structure underwent a complete revitalization in 2005, bringing it back to its former glory.
