About Camp Allegheny Who we are: Camp Allegheny is a ministry of the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church for the use of its churches and members, as well as providing service to groups of secular or other Christian denominational background. As our mission statement says, we provide a simple place for reflection offering enrichment, retreat, renewal and support to people of all ages regardless of church affiliation. We do this through hosting retreat groups of all varieties throughout the year and through our summer camping program.
