The Burger Shack has been providing local residents, University of Rhode Island students and faculty a multitude of burger choices since January 2009. Owned and operated by Ben Wood and his wife, Jessica, The Burger Shack is one of two restaurants the couple maintain at the Emporium. The Burger Shack has a friendly, comfortable, sports-oriented theme, paying tribute to the University of Rhode Island and local sports teams. Daily promos are offered for affordable meal specials, including Monday Night Football, ladies' night, Greek night, thirsty Thursday, freshman Friday and more. Delivery is available on campus, Monday through Sunday, 5pm till 10pm. University of Rhode Island RAM account is accepted.
