The uptown lounge was started 40 years ago by Larry stanley .He was a legend in his town with his big personality & fantastic burgers .Mr stanley is no longer with us but he is still very much a part of the place from the stories the regulars tell of him during happy hour to the pictures on the wall .we hope he is proud of his dream still very much alive & well & being the longest standing pub in the Anderson area
