The Bootjack in West Ashley is just one of three locations in the area. The store has been locally owned and operated since 1977. In those days, it carried just two brands of boots: Herman work boots and Acme Western boots. Today, Bootjack carries more than 150 styles of boots and shoes, most of which are safety footwear.  It also carries Western and outdoors boots and some clothing. Bootjack sells both to individuals and companies.
