The original Japanese steakhouse in Greenville, established in 1978 and relocated in 1989 to its present location at 533 Haywood Road near Haywood Mall.Under the management of Satoshi Powell, a 20+ year veteran of Kanpai of Tokyo, we have recently expanded the Greenville restaurant to accommodate more diners, and we brought back Greenville’s 1st Sushi Bar. Kanpai chefs and staff have entertained loyal customers for nearly a quarter of a century!Regular customer favorites include the Filet & Shrimp Combination and our house specialty drink, Plum Punch.
