In 1996, with a little cash and an SBA loan, Todd Graves opened the first Raising Cane's in a refurbished store in front of LSU. Fast forward to today and, 13 states and 80 stores later, Raising Cane's has become a major player in the chicken market. The chain is known for its fresh, never frozen chicken tenderloins, marinated 24 hours and fried to a crispy golden brown. The menu features chicken finger combos served with hot crinkle-cut fries, a beverage, Texas toast and the addictive secret Cane sauce. Party-sized portions are also available for tailgates and other get-togethers.
