The first restaurant in the group, HOT STACKS PANCAKE HOUSE was opened in June 1991 by GEORGE SOURLIS AND STEVE POLITIS, In downtown MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA. It is a beautiful location that once was home to MYRTLE BEACH HIGH SCHOOL. The first concept was set forth for the purpose of providing a breakfast and lunch cuisine with an emphasis on quality and service in an exciting, high energy environment. The next restaurant was opened by there sons PETE SOURLIS AND PETE POLITIS in MAY 1994 in midtown in NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA. This concept has the same style and flavor as the first. The third concept of HOT STACKS PANCAKE HOUSE is a partnership of the first two with the fathers and sons of SOURLIS AND POLITIS in a venture to remodel a 25 year old pancake house with the newest cutting edge of construction materials and upgrade the whole dinning experience to a new frontier as once promised and delivered as it once was set forth back in 1991.
