A non-chain gas station is something of a rarity these days, and so walking into the Sunshine Food Store is a rather nice change of pace. From the outside, it resembles an old corner store except for the gas pumps, which are in line with the prices at other neaby stations. A sign proudly proclaims the fact that one lucky lottery player who bought a ticket here won a sizeable pot of $200,000 not too long ago.

Inside, it's a well-stocked standard convenience store, with the only surprise being the impromptu arcade at the front windows, where the Slurpee machine sits on the counter between bar-style video games and a change machine. Cheap phone accessories and an assortment of straight-to-DVD movies stand near the counter, and if you're feeling hungry or thirsty you won't be disappointed by the selection of food and drink. Sunshine Food Store also operates Sunshine Coin Laundry in the adjacent unit.
