It all started back in 1965. An antique collection became an antique museum that grew into a Southern restaurant. It's one of the few places where you can really experience the South you grew up in or imagined. We are proud that Brooks Shaw & Son's Old Country Store is one of the Top 10 Attractions in the state of Tennessee. Located only an hour east of Memphis and 120 miles from Nashville, Casey Jones Village is just seconds off Interstate 40 at Exit 80A. We were listed in Southern Living magazine as one of the Top 10 stops along Interstate 40 between Dallas and Knoxville. We love our hometown folks and the travelers from around the world. We love giving you a place to relax and enjoy our atmosphere and friendly food and service. At Brooks Shaw & Son’s Old Country Store we serve our world famous buffets three times daily with Southern favorites such as fried green tomatoes, barbeque, hand battered Southern fried chicken, catfish, Tennessee country ham, turnip greens and homemade cracklin’ cornbread cooked fresh off the griddle. We have an extensive soup and salad bar and delicious homemade desserts. Our breakfast buffets are just like Grandma's.
