Thomas Esparza, Jr., Board Certified Specialist - Immigration and Nationality Law has 30 years experience providing immigration and citizenship legal services. A former Justice of the Peace, Thomas has won recognition for his community service which includes Community Education Volunteer of the Year, Past Chair - Texas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Assn. Uni. Of Texas Immigration Conf. Planning Committee, Chair of the Austin Commission on Immigrant Affairs and Outstanding Board member South Austin Optimist Little League Baseball. He has written and spoken for AILA, the State Bar of Texas, the Travis County Bar, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers as well as a variety of Spanish language media.

His extensive community outreach includes hosting "Dialogo", a Spanish language Travis County sponsored television program on information of interest to the Hispanic community. He is al so a frequent host to "Preguntele a Un Abogado", or "Ask a Lawyer", another Travis County sponsored television program providing legal information to Hispanics in Travis County.

Thomas is the proud son of the late Dr. Thomas Esparza and Mrs. Esther LaMadrid Esparza of Edinburg. Without their guidance, patience and sacrifice, he would never have achieved the success he has. He salutes them now and forever. He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1974 and the University of Texas in 1977.
