Mann's BBQ is a true Mom and Pop BBQ Joint (one of the last, if not the last, of a dying breed in Austin, Texas) with all of the atmospheric funk you would expect from a unique and casual family owned operation.Just voted Top BBQ Joint In Austin, Tx. Both owners, Jim and Sallie, are there each day, keeping track of their mesquite smoke and gas stove and ovens. Don't be surprised if they and their jovial crew are calling "regulars" by their names or their own unique Mann's derived nicknames, joking and shooting the bull all the way down the line.This ain't your your usual casual BBQ Dining experience. They tout sixteen, yes that's "sixteen" different vegetables to complement some of the finest smoking done anywhere. They feature hard to find (in Texas) BBQ Meats, they've got the biggest, juiciest Beef Ribs and even True Southern Pulled Pork for the Southeastern transplants. But, they haven't forgotten it's Texas-- the brisket is fall apart good (yes, you can still use your fingers) and the hot sausage will let you know this is the west !
