Inn on the Riverwalk is located at the end of a quiet culdesac overlooking the San Antonio River Walk a network of pedestrianfriendly walkways through the heart of downtown San Antonio. Listed in the book 1000 Places to See Before You Die the river walk draws millions of visitors each year and is one of Texas most popular attractions. The treelined Inn on the Riverwalk puts its guests far enough from the rivers main tourism spot to feel private and secluded but close enough for easy access. The riversides charming restaurants shops and bars are all within a 5 to 10minute walk. The inn is made up of three guesthouses the main inn a threestory Victorian home that dates back to 1916 and two smaller Craftsmanstyle homes. Each individually decorated guest room comes with abstract paintings created by innkeeper Johanna Gardner and looks out onto gorgeous views of the river walk. Some even have private porches.
