Welcome to Schilo’s Delicatessen, a San Antonio institution. Our authentic German Deli located in the heart of downtown San Antonio has been serving authentic German cuisine since 1917. Schilo’s is one of the oldest continually operated restaurants in the State of Texas. Housed in an old mercantile exchange building dating back to the 1800’s, Schilo’s embodies that time in San Antonio when the majority of the citizens were of German decent. The exchange’s vault is now our walk-in refrigerator. Old signage, postcards and tile floor continue the German theme throughout the deli.
