Litzas Pizza was founded in 1965 by Don Hale. Don loved a good, rich, top-quality pizza and set out to create one. He carted his family throughout Utah and surrounding states trying pizzas from different pizzerias (his kids loved it). He gathered recipes here and there for pizza, spaghetti, salad dressings and garlic bread. After coming up with a product that passed his discriminating taste, all he had to do was to invent a name that would characterize his pizza. He wanted something with zip -- something that rhymed with pizza. He eventually came up with Litzas Pizza. He always thought that a name with a "z" in it sounded solid. Besides, it also sounded Italian. Litzas Pizza has become famous for its pizza made from scratch with fresh dough, sauce blended with an amazing array of spices, rich mozzarella cheese, and fresh toppings of meats and vegetables. Litzas Pizza is the gathering place for tasty food and cheerful service for friends and family from all walks of life. See you there!
