The Sandy Amphitheater, governed by Sandy City Corporation, has a seating capacity of up to 5,000 individuals in the city of Sandy in Utah. Completed in 1999, it features designated lawn chair and blanket areas. The Sandy Amphitheater also features a concession stand on the main plaza that sells a variety of food and Coke products. The amphitheater s stage is covered on three sides and its backstage amenities include a greenroom, three dressing rooms, showers and restrooms. The Sandy Amphitheater is wheelchair accessible and its season from May through September includes performances from local bands and national and international artists, as well as musical theater and orchestra concerts. The amphitheater is equipped with more than 100 par cans and over 20 four pars.
