Food Matters is an experience unlike anything else. We provide convenient, high quality food, wine, and service. Whether you come to dine in our full service restaurant, visit the wine bar, pick up catering, take advantage of easy grab and go food, or to dine in our private dining room, you will experience our staff's passion for our products. We seek to focus on seasonal and superior products from artisinal producers that are local and from around the world.Food Matters was started by two chefs, two long time Alexandria residents, and a group of people who believed in them. The basic goal was to create an environment where people could come for food, wine, and a sense of community without intimidation, pretense, or pressure.
