Just as you are exiting the Virginia Square Metro Station you will find the Metro Cafe & Gourmet. This cafe uses only Boar's Head meats for all its made to order sandwiches. The deli menu is extensive with cold sandwiches like salami or chicken salad and hot sandwiches such as chicken cheese steak or grilled cheese. Focaccia sandwiches and paninis are also available. In the gourmet you will find items like wasabi peas, olives, a decent wine selection, beer and produce. Metro Cafe & Gourmet also carries calling cards, greeting cards, paper towels and DVD's for rent. Catering is available.
