Milwaukee Frozen Custard came to fruition when the owner, Al Casey noticed that in Northern Virginia there was no creamy frozen treats that quenched his satisfaction like the custard in Milwaukee, WI. After searching for a great location and found a fantastic recipe he put the first frozen custard on the map in Chantilly, VA. With such great success of the Chantilly store, he was convinced to keep opening stores. His next opening was in Woodbridge, VA. To keep demand he later opened in Herndon, VA and then Ashburn, VA. He franchised the Milwaukee Frozen Custard idea to a happy couple in 2007. They opened it in Leesburg, VA.
