In operation for more than 20 years, the Virginia Horse Center is spread across an area of over 600 acres. The center houses barns, show rings, indoor arenas and cross-country courses. It hosts a variety of activities, such as rodeos, workshops, horse shows and community events. The Virginia Horse Center also features Rowe's Cafe & Catering, which is a restaurant that offers boxed lunches and catering services. The center s gift shop sells a range of products, including wine glasses and coffee and travel mugs. In addition, it operates Howard P. Anderson Coliseum, which can accommodate nearly 4,000 seats. The Virginia Horse Center provides online reservation services, as well as facilities on a rental basis.
