Steeped in Comfort is a proper tea shop in every sense of the word. From the lace curtains and quaint decorations to the scones with lemon curd or clotted cream and jam, this Lakewood shop reminds you to sit down and take your time, nourish yourself and enjoy your day. Steeped in Comfort serves a full high tea, with tea sandwiches and savories, scones, dessert, fruit tarts and, of course, the tea of your choice. If you want to take loose tea home, look no further than the gift shop for pre-bagged tea and other items.

Casual walk-in customers and parties of up to 35 are welcome. Please call two weeks in advance for reservations of more than 10 people, and be advised that a reservation of 19 to 35 guests requires that you rent the building (only available Sundays).
