Scores of "Ten-Meal Cards" cover the walls like confetti at Gourmet Teriyaki, evidence of numerous repeat customers. Cardholders get their 11th meal free after receiving stamps on their cards for 10 meals purchased. The smokey, sweet smell of grilled meats and teriyaki sauce greets guests in the Tabit Square parking lot. Owners Minwa and Kisuk Kim make all their own sauces. They sold a prior restaurant near Northgate to find a better location on Mercer Island, opening Gourmet Teriyaki here in 1999.
