Out of a desire to find a quality breakfast experience on the Eastside in the mid 1980's and finding few choices, Michal & Jo Ann Scott were presented with a opportunity in 1986 to purchase Emmilou's Cafe in downtown Redmond, Washington. Soon after the Village Square Cafe opened with a expanded menu offering 1940's comfort food and family hospitality. Their motto, “Where it is never too late for breakfast”, has remained and the menu has been directed toward offering guests competitive pricing, quality food selections and great service. Featured daily from our bakery chef are freshly baked scones, pies, cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, and fluffy buttermilk buscuits. Our gobblin' turkeys, prime rib roasts, and soups ‘like Grandma used to make’ are also prepared daily.
