Our green coffee beans are purchased from farm friendly sources from around the world (Brewed Awakenings is currently in the process of getting certified to sell all organic, fair trade and bird-friendly coffee). We recently purchased a vintage Gothot Roaster from Germany, a country where full-bodied coffee has been enjoyed for centuries. This device can roast 50 pounds of beans at a time and takes 12 to 16 minutes to roast one batch. We roast over 50,000 pounds (that’s 25 tons!) of coffee beans a year.
