We are close to skiing, golf, softball, convention center, and city center. Our daily breakfast will be the highlight of your getaway! When your travel plans include include Wenatchee WA, let Apple Country Inn provide all your lodging needs. About Us We will do everything we can to make your stay with us a pleasant one. We currently offer 5 bedrooms in the main house, plus the 1 bedroom Carriage House separate from the main house, to our guests. Two of the rooms share a bath that is highlighted by a classic, full sized claw foot bath tub, a perfect place to soak your troubles away. Three rooms in the main house, and the Carriage House feature private baths. All of our rooms accommodate two, except the Carriage House has a futon in the small living room that makes into a bed. Breakfast will be one of the highlights of your stay. We feature great breakfast entrees, fresh fruit of the season, and a darn good cup of coffee History The house we now call APPLE COUNTRY INN was one of the first homes built in the Okanogan Heights addition in Wenatchee. Construction began in 1918 and completed in 1920. The home was built and occupied by Fred and Lillian Sterling. Sterling was a fruit grower and real estate developer in partnership with his brother Claus. Th Sterlings lived in the home for 35 years. At the time of construction, the home was on the highest point in the city of Wenatchee. It featured panoramic views of Mission Ridge, Badger Mountain, Saddle Rock and Burch Mountain. We would like to express our gratitude to the family of Theresa Calhoun who lived in the home from 1961 until 1972, where she raised seven children, and provided us with much of the history of this grand old house.
