Red Leaf Coffee Co. was founded by Melissa Vandervalk, born to American parents who immigrated to northern Canada in the early 70’s. She created Red Leaf Coffee Co. (notice the subtle maple leaf in the background) to remember her Canadian roots while establishing her own roots here in Woodland with her husband, Ray, and little Emily who was born in 2007. Melissa’s goal, and also the goal of Red Leaf Coffee Co. is to establish a strong sense of community by supporting other organizations that have similar goals: local churches, schools and teachers
