After being in the Green Bay area for four years, New York natives Ray and Cathy Sgambati were surprised to find that the area did not offer a restaurant that catered to their taste for New York-style pizza. Feeling a need to fill the void, the Sgambatis decided to take on the venture of opening a restaurant. Although the couple had never owned a restaurant before, they received plenty of advice from "Big Apple" relatives in the business and family recipes that come from their Italian heritage.
