Other Details:
THE BLACK KETTLE was established in 1963 by Dorothy Edwards and family and was soon a favorite Milwaukee Supper Club. Known for pan seared steaks and homemade shredded onion rings, along with delicious brandy old fashions, The Black Kettle has earned its reputation for having beautiful ambiance and to this day uses soup, salad, and entree recipes passed down for generations. After running the kitchen for over two decades, the current owner Deede took over the restaurant in 1999. With her families support, she has maintained the original integrity of the restaurant and stayed true to the original theme of being a traditional family supper club. Deede strives to make the Black Kettle a welcoming, sociable, and friendly atmosphere; whether just stopping by for a quick cocktail or joining for dinner, the staff is always ready to serve with a warm smile.
