Bernie's Fine Meats has been a Port Washington institution since 1941. Bernie was praised for his excellent sausages and his love for his town and neighbors. Though Bernie has passed away, his legacy lives on: in the heart of downtown Port Washington, Bernie's shop remains, sporting the classic, unmistakable mid-20th century neon sign it always has.

The current owners have been running the shop since 2005, and still sell quality smoked meats and other items, both wholesale and to the public.
