Established in 2014. The Vagabond Kitchen is a home-coming for Chef Matt Welsch and his wife Katie who are both West Virginia natives. After years spent in kitchens and cafes across the country, including extensive time in one of Idaho's premier destination lodges. Matt and Katie returned home and established the Vagabond Kitchen in downtown Wheeling to serve as a pillar for economic redevelopment in their beloved city.
