Z's Cocktail Lounge began mixing drinks and pouring highballs of whiskey back in 1962 when it was known as "Encinal Cocktail Lounge." The owners are new, but the classy tap room has been preserved with precision and care. The tap room's carpeting, old mahoganey bartop, well-mannered bartender, and scotch selection stacked to the ceiling give it and old victorian feel. Scotch and whiskey are the favorites here, but there is also a fine selection of tequila, gin and craft beers. Feeling classy? Then come to Z's.
