Kona Hut is located along South Freeman Street, just a few blocks from the ocean. The morning coffee house is frequented by surfers on their way to the beach, stopping in to use the free Wi-Fi and grab a cup of coffee. Special brews such as the Hawaiian and the Sumatra are always on hand, along with seasonal varieties of tea and other breakfast beverages. Acai smoothies are also on hand, as are fresh-baked pastries from local bakeries. The inside is small, but accommodating, with a true surf-town vibe that carries throughout and creates a warm, friendly atmosphere. Credit cards are accepted and parking is free on site.
