Kawa, which opened in 2008 along the Gold Star Highway, serves Chinese and Japanese dishes. The restaurant prides itself on its large sushi selection and has a bar where patrons can sit and sample delicacies. There are also rice, noodle soup and wok dishes on the menu. Meals are available for takeout as well as free delivery for purchases more than $15. For those who choose to eat in, Kawa has a spacious dining area with both tables and booths. Music and Eastern artwork on the walls create a pleasant dinner atmosphere. Patrons can also try the jukebox or shoot a round of pool in the adjoining room. A second bar sells beer and spirits, including imported Tsingtao and Kirin Ichiban.
