The happy family that runs the Bamboo Grill moved to St. Pete from Hong Kong in 2002. Before his arrival, the chef ran a kitchen just outside Hong Kong for 30 years. The menu offers 105 different items, all of which are numbered for easy ordering over the phone. If you would rather pick up your meals yourself, just zip through the converted Checkers restaurant painted in vivid blue. Aven, the manager, recommends the chicken teriyaki, though there are nine other teriyakis from which to choose. If you are not in the mood for Chinese, the grill offers over twenty sushi items.
