Enter World Peace Cafe and experience the relaxing decor of beige, brown and peachy hues under the glow of papier mache lanterns. There are dining areas on both the upper and lower levels, and the upper level showcases a view of beautifully vibrant Indo-Asian artwork. The cafe offers a totally vegetarian menu, including its popular Classic Peace Burger. Vegans can set their minds at ease, as the cafe provides soy substitutes for dairy.
Lunch traffic can be quite heavy, however the friendly servers are efficient in processing orders. This is great place for meeting a friend or two while having a cup of organic herbal tea or the house's specialty coffee. The truly unique and well-intentioned cafe was built and managed with donations and volunteers. All profits go to support meditation classes and special events which are held at the cafe and in the community.
