Founded by a German baker in Brooklyn way back in 1898, Entenmann's continues to produce the delicious coffee cakes, pastries, and breads that you grew up on.  The Bakery Outlet has been on Rockville Pike for more than 30 years, and sells a wide selection of discounted products, with shipments arriving almost every day.  While the baked goods may have just missed a QC check (half an ounce too light, for instance) or were recent store restock (but still not past expiration), you can pay a lot less than at a retail grocer-and it still tastes just as good!

Besides the Entenmann brand, the outlet also carries more than a dozen others, such as Stroehmann, Thomas, Boboli and Arnold, all of which fall under the Bimbo Bakeries umbrella, which now owns Entenmann's.

Special discounts are offered throughout the week; Monday and Tuesday are Bread Special Day (buy eight loaves for $8 and get two free), and Wednesdays are Senior Day (10% off).  In addition, if you spend $20 on any day, you get three Manager's Special items free!
